Sustainability & ESG Policy
Published: March 2026 | Reviewed annually
This policy is framed against UK reporting standards including TCFD (Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures), SECR (Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting), and the forthcoming UK Sustainability Disclosure Standards (UK SDS).
Environmental
Climate Risk and TCFD Alignment
We recognise climate change as a material risk to our business and to the businesses we serve. Our climate-related risks and opportunities are assessed annually against the TCFD framework:
- Transition risk: regulatory changes in ESG reporting requirements represent an opportunity for our business, as they increase demand for our platform
- Physical risk: as a software business with cloud-based infrastructure, our direct physical climate risk is low; we rely on our infrastructure providers' climate resilience
Greenhouse Gas Emissions
As a small software company, our direct emissions (Scope 1 and 2) are minimal. Our primary environmental impact is through our cloud infrastructure (Scope 3). We are committed to:
- Selecting cloud providers with published net-zero commitments and renewable energy targets
- Measuring and disclosing our Scope 3 emissions annually as our business grows
- Targeting net-zero Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030
Energy
Our offices and remote working arrangements are energy-efficient by design. We do not operate data centres directly; our infrastructure providers (Manus AI, TiDB Cloud, AWS) publish their own energy and carbon commitments.
