Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 2026

This statement applies to both SolvingESG (solvingesg.co.uk) and DharmaCompliance (dharmacompliance.in), operated by SolvingCompliance Ltd.

Our Commitment

SolvingCompliance Ltd is committed to making both platforms accessible to all users, including those with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard. In the UK, this aligns with the Equality Act 2010. In India, this aligns with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPWD) Act 2016.

Current Accessibility Status

Both platforms are currently in active development. We are working towards WCAG 2.1 AA conformance. Known areas of partial conformance are listed below.

What Works Well

  • Keyboard navigation is supported throughout the dashboard and public pages
  • All interactive elements have visible focus indicators
  • Colour contrast ratios meet AA standards for body text and headings
  • Form inputs have associated labels
  • The site is responsive and usable on mobile devices
  • Pages use semantic HTML heading structure (h1 → h2 → h3)

Known Limitations

  • Charts and data visualisations: Score trend charts and compliance ring charts do not yet have text alternatives. We plan to add data table equivalents by Q3 2026.
  • PDF documents: Generated compliance reports are not yet tagged for screen reader accessibility. We plan to address this by Q4 2026.
  • Complex data tables: Some assessment tables lack full ARIA row/column header associations. We are reviewing these.
  • Video content: Any future video content will include captions and transcripts.

Technical Specification

Both platforms are built with React 19 and use semantic HTML5. We use Tailwind CSS for styling and shadcn/ui components, which are built on Radix UI primitives with ARIA support. The platforms are tested with keyboard navigation and have been reviewed against WCAG 2.1 success criteria.

Feedback and Contact

We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our platforms. If you experience any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:

We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within 5 business days.

Enforcement

UK users: If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS).

India users: If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities under the RPWD Act 2016.

Formal Compliance Status

These platforms are partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to address the known limitations listed above.
