Modern Slavery Statement

Financial year ending 31 March 2026 | Published: March 2026

Issued by: SolvingCompliance Ltd

This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps taken by SolvingCompliance Ltd to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.

1. About Our Organisation

SolvingCompliance Ltd is a technology company providing ESG compliance software through two platforms: SolvingESG (for UK and international businesses) and DharmaCompliance (for Indian businesses). We are a small business operating primarily in the software-as-a-service sector.

Our operations consist principally of software development, platform hosting, and customer support. We do not manufacture physical goods. Our supply chain is limited to technology service providers, cloud infrastructure vendors, and professional services firms.

2. Our Supply Chains

Our principal supply chain relationships include:

  • Cloud infrastructure: Manus AI (platform hosting), TiDB Cloud (database), AWS (underlying infrastructure)
  • Payment processing: Stripe Inc
  • Email delivery: Resend Inc
  • Professional services: legal, accounting, and compliance advisers based in the UK

All principal suppliers are established technology companies headquartered in the UK, USA, or EU, operating in regulated sectors with their own published modern slavery policies.

3. Policies

SolvingCompliance Ltd maintains the following policies relevant to modern slavery:

  • Supplier Code of Conduct: all suppliers are expected to comply with applicable labour laws and prohibit forced labour, child labour, and human trafficking
  • Recruitment Policy: we verify the right to work for all employees and contractors and do not use recruitment agencies that charge fees to workers
  • Whistleblowing Policy: employees and contractors may report concerns about modern slavery or labour rights violations without fear of retaliation

4. Due Diligence

We take the following steps to assess and manage modern slavery risk:

  • Reviewing the modern slavery statements and policies of principal suppliers before engagement
  • Preferring suppliers who are signatories to recognised ethical frameworks (e.g. UN Global Compact)
  • Conducting periodic reviews of our supplier relationships
  • Including modern slavery prohibitions in supplier contracts where applicable

5. Risk Assessment

We assess our modern slavery risk as low for the following reasons:

  • Our operations are entirely software-based with no manufacturing, logistics, or physical supply chain
  • Our workforce is small and directly employed or engaged on professional services contracts
  • Our principal suppliers are regulated technology companies in low-risk jurisdictions

We recognise that our DharmaCompliance platform serves customers in India, where supply chain labour risks can be higher. We are committed to helping our customers identify and address these risks through our platform's supply chain assessment tools.

6. Training

All staff are made aware of modern slavery risks and our obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 as part of onboarding. We will implement formal modern slavery training as our team grows.

7. Key Performance Indicators

  • Zero reports of modern slavery concerns in our own operations or supply chains in the financial year
  • 100% of principal supplier contracts reviewed for modern slavery provisions

8. Approval

This statement has been approved by the board of directors of SolvingCompliance Ltd and will be reviewed and updated annually.
